Welcome to the month of fire, flowers, fertility and feasting.

This month marks the threshold into the fire season, and it is a magical, beautiful month which includes the celebration of Beltane. The energy of the earth is ecstatic. Life is thriving and full of abundance. We are called to spend time outside, get active, and connect with our passions in a variety of ways. This audio is the main content for the month, so you will want to start it when you have a journal ready and at least 45 minutes.

This audio includes:

A welcome; Grounding Meditation; Fire Introduction; Holy Day: Beltane; Herb: Calendula and Recipe for Solar Infused Oil; Tree: Hawthorn; Closing Blessing.

*For more details and visuals about the Celtic Trees I mention in the audio, I recommend “The Celtic Lunar Zodiac” book by Helena Paterson.

Feel the radiant warmth of summer.

All the fire festivals mark a mid-point between the equinoxes and solstices, and as Beltane is the point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, it ushers in the summer months. This month marks the beginning of the heat of summer both internally and externally. This handout echoes some key energies and aspects of what is mentioned in the audio, and it also adds more details and organization for practices, crafts and grounding into the season. I’ve also included a recipe for our herb this month: Calendula. I do hope you enjoy connecting with this sunny herbal friend.

Take a journey into the celebration.

Holly Hamilton has recorded a profound guided journey into the heart of the Celtic landscape that will bring the experience of feasting to life. To prepare for this 20-minute meditation, sit or lie comfortably near your altar or in a private space outside. Bring a candle if possible, and have your pen and journal ready to record insights after.
