The dreaming month

This month marks the official end of the water season, and the end of the Celtic year, as the new year begins in the darkness with Samhain next month. This is the perfect month to dive in deep to the dreaming realms and begin to practice cultivating energy in a more internal way. We have officially entered the dark half of the year and are plunging into the depths of the unknown.

Water is nourishing and can also be intensely activating as she asks us to meet our emotions and wears down old, comfortable patterns and grooves within our psyche. And with The Earth season on the horizon promises of deeper introspection and stability are just around the corner. Our energy is waning, Gaia is exhaling, and it is time to gather our reserves and make space for silence and rest.

Feel into the mystery of your emotional body

Water guides us into the place where feeling rules over sight. Here, we are learning to be comfortable in darkness and uncertainty. We strengthen our intuition by listening to that still, small voice that comes from our womb space or hara. We recognize the wisdom of the water within. We nourish and support the water element within us this month with a nettle infusion and a cleansing bath.

Take a journey into the Temple of Water.

Holly Hamilton has recorded a profound guided journey into the heart of the Water Element to allow you to soak in its healing energies. To prepare for this 20-minute meditation, sit or lie comfortably near your altar or in a private space outside. Bring a candle if possible, and have your pen and journal ready to record insights after.

Remember to check the exact time for the full and new moon in your email for the month, and listen to the zodiac introduction on the Lunar Pages. This is also time to review and offer gratitude to the element of water for the lesson of the past three months.
