Foundations of Magick: Ostara

Welcome to the month of equilibrium, expression, and ecstasy.

Ostara is a time when the light and dark have found harmony and dance together as equal partners: illuminating our days and external/egos selves with the same amount of intensity as our night/shadow and dreaming selves. It is a time to celebrate the magic of sacred union and all of the creation that pours forth from this timeless dance through the cosmos. 

It is a time of fertility, rebirth and movement all across the spectrum. For me, I can’t help but feel the excitement of Gaia as life leaps forward into the unknown future with the greatest enthusiasm and optimism of the year.

There is harmony between the opposites, and this is the still point where they come into sacred union. This is the dance of creation. To prepare for this 20-minute meditation, sit or lie comfortably near your altar or in a private space outside. Bring a candle if possible, and have your pen and journal ready to record insights after.
