Foundations of Magick: Earth
Welcome to the month of stability, structure and gentle building.
Gaia has begun to inhale again after a long season of emptying out, and the fresh energy grid and hope for the possibilities of the coming year rule the season. We hold these precious seeds close to our hearts, and listen for the precise moment to plant them and watch them sprout.
Gaia’s energy is still deeply internal, even though there is a promise of the light returning. The days are beginning to brighten, and the wheel prepares to shift from the gravity and slow moving Earth to the levity and intangible mental realm with Imbolc (next month) when the seeds we planted at solstice begin to sprout.
This audio includes: A welcome; Grounding Meditation; Introduction to Earth; Herbs: St. John’s Wort and Turmeric; Tree: The Birch; Gratitude Offerings for Earth/Service Plan; Closing Blessing

Feel the wisdom in your bones.
We honor our human ancestors especially at Samhain, and the entire season of Earth aligns us with the deep intelligence of the world around us and within us. In the last month of the Earth Season, we are steeping in the quiet wisdom of winter and the direction of the north.
This is the time of the crone and the grey beard. The archetypes of elders rule the depths of winter, and sometimes these elders show up in the form of plants and animals. In light of the urgent healing needed for our current human state, I have been guided by my ancestors to share a special additional meditation with you this month that connects you with a kind, resourced ancestor who wants to guide you through this next step in human evolution. You can read a bit more about it and access it on a separate page linked below.

Take a journey into the temple of Earth.
Holly Hamilton has recorded a profound guided journey into the temple of the Earth Element. To prepare for this 20-minute meditation, sit or lie comfortably near your altar or in a private space outside. Bring a candle if possible, and have your pen and journal ready to record insights after.
You can find the specific moon sign for the new and full moon this month over on the moon audio page. Check your monthly email for details on the date, time, and specific sign.
